Good Snack for Halloween

Halloween happens once a year and this is the only time that you can get away with some nibbles that will sound gross but are really good to fill anybody stomach.  Here are a few examples. 
 
1.  The 1st is the Bat Sandwich.  You will need some sharp cheddar cheese, soft chive and onion flavored cream cheese, drained diced pimiento, cut toasted pecans and bread slices.  After you mix the ingredients mentioned, put the spread onto one side of the bread and then put another one on top.  Cut this to shape like a bat and then serve.

Other Things to Do Besides Trick or Treating

Some fogeys are overly protecting and they don’t want to let their children go trick or treating.  If you’re one of those parents, you have to find another paths to make them have a good time and here are some options. 
 
the first is make contact with your local community or recreation center to find out if they have any planned activities for Halloween.  They could have a costume party or a night crammed with games for everybody to enjoy. 
 
for those that do not need their kids to go trick or treating in the streets, their children can still do this by going to the mall.  The reason is because some shopping malls encourage their renters to provide candies and other goodies for buyers.  There also are costume parades and contests which the youngsters will like to watch and maybe win some prizes. 
 
If you live in a small town, possibilities are there is an activity for the evening like perhaps a dance or a performance. 
 
you can also go with your kids and visit a haunted house.  This event is generally backed by the area people to raise funds and what they do is hire a house for the evening, decorate the place and scare people all in the tradition of fun. 
 
For people who don’t need to go out and just remain at home, let the people come instead by hosting a Halloween party.  You can plan it weeks ahead so you have some time to buy the decorations, stock up on food and send out the invitations. 
 
You and yours children can then spend special time together by putting the door up like hang fake spider webs thru the entry way after cutting them out using black construction paper, put out tombstones made of foam that can be made or purchased from craft stores and naturally pumpkins which you can carve out yourself. 
 
As for sounds, you can download some songs as we all sound effects into you MP3 player then just put speakers around the house.  To make a misty atmosphere when people approach your house, buy some dry ice. 
 
the only possible way your guests will have a good time is to be sure there is a lot of food and drinks to go round.  So they don’t bored, plan some fun and games that everyone can participate in.  One game you would love is apple bobbing where you put a bunch of apples in the bathtub or basin and then let the participants pick it up using their teeth. 
 
As for dinner, serve spaghetti that look like eyeballs, tomato soup and a few other dishes that are ideal for the occasion. 
 
Since there’ll be kids attending the party, make sure there are games for them also.  One game could be pin the skeleton which is very like pin the mule.  You can also bake caramel apples so the kids can just grab them when they desire another one. 
 
Because children love candy, be certain that there are tons of them around.  Remember to thank everybody for coming by preparing loot bags that they can bring home. 
 
Planning and hosting a Halloween party takes plenty of work but its all worth it if everyone was able to have a fun time.  The only thing to do now when the party is over is clean up and return things to the way they were.

Making Paper plate mask

When making Halloween crafts, a really fun thing to make is a paper plate mask. The brilliant thing about a paper plate mask is that you can use all kinds of creative ideas to make different creatures. Start your rabbit paper plate mask by making the ears. Color the interior of the plate pink or glue pink construction paper on the inside. Cut the paper plate in half for 2 ears.
 
Take a new paper plate for your rabbit paper plate mask and cut a wedge out of one side this will be where your youngster mouth will be. Staple the ears to the top of the mask the part opposite the wedge with the straight edge to the interior. Cut two eyes in the face just under the ears. You can glue the pink pom pom slightly below the eyes for the rabbiter nose or color in a nose. Decorate your mask with crayons or markers drawing on whiskers and coloring as you need. Staple a bit of elastic on both sides of the mask or punch a hole and bring a string thru the holes to be tied in the back to secure this rabbit paper plate mask.
 
Another paper plate mask you can make that’s simple is that of a pumpkin. Draw a pumpkin face on the back of the paper plate. Use scissors to cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth. Decorate the remainder of the pumpkin coloring it orange. You may either use elastic that’s staple to either side of the paper plate mask, or punch a hole in either side and put string through each hole to be tied in the back to secure the pumpkin paper plate mask.
 
If you want to make a paper plate mask, you can make just about anything you need to so long as you are ready to think side the box and be creative. Use crayons and markers and have at.
